A round of golf is the perfect vehicle for conversation. Every shot is a conversational pivot point, providing a 15 second window for golfers to forget their last shot and focus on the next. Resisting the urge to snap a pitching wedge over your knee, aided by your buddy asking if you want another beer, is a cornerstone of camaraderie- and it makes it that much sweeter when you put one within 10 feet of the pin on that next par 3.

Next Round’s On Me was an internet based golf-talk show co-created by Samuel O’Connell & Alex Manganella. Throughout the course of one season, the host Jimmy Andreotti interviewed celebrity guests from around the world. From starts of Netflix’s “Trailer Park Boys” to the best blind golfer in the world, the show provided humor and golf-related content for a steadily growing fanbase.

Season 1

Next Round's On Me Pitch Deck

While Next Round’s On Me was primarily funded by co-creators O’Connell & Manganella, the duo initially and successfully pitched the concept to garner a larger production budget for season 1. This allowed the skeleton crew to travel internationally to Canada to film a special episode with actor Jacob Rolfe of Trailer Park boys.
